1st Nencki Conference for Life Sciences

We are pleased to announce the inauguration of a new series of international scientific conferences - Nencki Conference for Life Sciences. These meetings will be devoted to different topics, and organized every two years at Nencki Institute.

1st Nencki Conference for Life Sciences was focused on lipid metabolism (for more details see: https://conference.nencki.edu.pl/). Four exciting keynote lectures by James Olzmann (University of California Berkeley, USA), Martin Vaeth (Würzburg Institute of Systems Immunology, Max Planck Research Group, Würzburg, Germany), Almut Schulze (German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg, Germany), and Marcin Krawczyk (Universitätsklinikum des Saarlandes, Homburg, Germany) inspired our guests. Over 100 participants enjoyed excellent long, short, and flash talks as well as presentations of posters.

We congratulate the winners of the competition for best short talk: Mariana Tsap (Hannover Medical School, Hannover, Germany), flash talk: Katia AlGhoz (Nencki Institute, Warsaw, Poland) and three first prices for the best poster: Aneta Dobosz (Nencki Institute, Warsaw, Poland), Katarzyna Trzos (Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland) and Justyna Domańska (Nencki Institute, Warsaw, Poland).

See you in two years!
