On March 22, 2023, the members of the Nencki Foundation Council: prof. Maciej Nałęcz (President), prof. Małgorzata Kossut (vice-president), prof. Adam Szewczyk (Secretary), prof. Bożena Kamińska-Kaczmarek, prof. Jerzy Duszyński, prof. Anna Grabowska, prof. Leszek Kaczmarek, prof. Stefan Kasicki, prof. Krzysztof Turlejski, prof. Andrzej Wróbel, prof. Hanna Fabczak entrusted the function of the President of the Board of Foundation of Marceli Nencki, Biological Sciences Support to dr hab. Dorota Dymkowska. The members of the Foundation's Board are: dr hab. Aneta Szymaszek (vice-president), dr Bogusz Kulawiak (secretary), dr hab. Grażyna Mosieniak, dr Kinga Szydłowska, dr hab. Marek Wypych.

The Foundation, established in 2011, supports scientific, popularizing and educational activities in the field of biology. In particular, it acts to promote the scientific heritage of the Nencki Institute PAS and to support the scientific development of outstanding young researchers.
