On Tuesday, December 12^th, in a beautifully decorated Konorski Conference hall of the Nencki Institute the annual Christmas party for Nencki senior citizens took place. On behalf of the Institute management Prof. Hanna Fabczak wished all a Merry Christmas and the best of luck in the New Year. Visitors enjoyed themselves in cheerful Christmas atmosphere and had a very nice time.

During the meeting a ceremony took place, during which the Director of the Institute, prof. Adam Szewczyk, in his thanks for special contributions to the development of the Institute, awarded the Medal for the 100th anniversary of the Nencki Institute: Jolanta Barańska, Alicja Bujalska, Wanda Chmurzyńska, Teresa Cymbalak, Julita Czarkowska-Bauch, Anna Dygas, Wacław Gawor, Anna Jakubiec-Puka, Irena Kąkol, Maria Kieruzel, Janina Kilianek, Wanda Kłopocka, Joanna Kołodziejczyk, Teresa Kośmicka, Małgorzata Manteuffel-Cymborowska, Andrzej Rongiers, Jerzy Sikora, Teresa Skórzyńska, Leokadia Stefańska, Waldemar Szczepański, Stanisława Szczęsna, Hanna Śliwa, Danuta Tarnecka, Krzysztof Turlejski and Barbara Wiąckiewicz.
