On December 5th at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology we hosted 23 high school students from Piła. The meeting was opened with lecture of prof Leszek Kaczmarek who runs the workshops of neurologia. During the lecture the guests familiarized themselves with the history of the institute as well as the subject matter of research being conducted in the Laboratory of Neurobiology. Then the students were divided into groupsand given various tasks including microscope samples preparation, cell cultures staining and isolation of DNA. Students were interested in Institute research field and keenly participated in the workshops.
