Medal of the 100th anniversary of the Nencki Institute for prof. Joan Guinovart
On December 1st, 2017, a ceremony took place during which the Director of the Nencki Institute, prof. Adam Szewczyk, in acknowledgment of special merits for the development of the Nencki Institute, awarded the medal of the 100th anniversary of prof. Joan Guinovart. Professor Joan Guinovart is the director of the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona), with whom the Nencki Institute has a signed scientific cooperation agreement. Prof. Joan Guinovart is also the President of the International Union of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists (IUBMB).
