On September 29th, 2017 the Hydrobiological Station in Mikolajki hosted the first meeting of the Station Advisory Team. The team consists of: prof. Wiesław Bogdanowicz - President (Museum and Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw), prof. Marek Konarzewski (Institute of Biology, University of Bialystok), prof. Henryk Okarma (Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences), prof. Jerzy Puchalski (Botanical Garden of the Polish Academy of Sciences - Center for the Conservation of Biological Diversity in Powsin), prof. Leszek Kuźnicki (Nencki Institute of Polish Academy of Sciences), Dr Anna Jachner-Miśkiewicz - Secretary (Nencki Institute). After getting acquainted with the development plans of the Station, the Team recommended that measures be taken to develop the forest area of the Station in order to conduct scientific research.
