Prof. Daniel Wójcik elected to the IBRO Pan-Europe Regional Committee

Prof. Daniel Wójcik, head of the Laboratory of Neuroinformatics, has been elected a new member of the International Brain Research Organization Pan-Europe Regional Committee (IBRO PERC) with a term starting from January 2024. Prof. Wójcik is the only new member of IBRO PERC in this round of elections.

The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) is the global association of neuroscience societies established in 1961 that aims to promote and support neuroscience around the world through training, education, research, outreach and engagement activities, and the publication of two journals, Neuroscience and IBRO Neuroscience Reports. More than 90 international, regional and national scientific members constitute IBRO’s Governing Council which, together with the IBRO Executive Committee and five Regional Committees, address the needs and advance the work of individual scientists and research communities everywhere. IBRO has partnerships with like-minded scientific organizations to identify priorities and help bridge gaps in knowledge, investment and resources in the field of brain research. The IBRO Pan-Europe Regional Committee (PERC) is the IBRO Regional Committee composed of elected voluntary leadership that focuses on supporting and promoting neuroscience in the Pan-European region based on its specific needs and conditions.
