Support for translational research – SPARK initiative

A Lecture promoting the SPARK Poland initiative takes place on 29 Nov 2019. Prof. Craig Garner (Charite – Universitätsmedizin Berlin/SPARK Berlin) will share his thoughts on „Enhancing Translation and Entrepreneurship in Academia”, 11:00, in the CN room. We will also host Dr. Liliane Brunner Halbach (former industry advisor at SPARK Stanford, International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw), and Prof. Franz Theuring (Charite - Universitätsmedizin Berlin/SPARK Berlin).

If you are interested in translational research, it is worth to come and see how SPARK may support you. After the lecture, we will briefly present activities planned locally for 2020, together with a Q&A session.

The strategic goal of the initiative is to improve human health through the implementation of effective therapies in clinical practice. This goal can only be achieved by uniting academics and industry experts around the globe when a deep understanding of biological processes is translated into practical solutions. Activities aimed at intensification of such cooperation are the core of SPARK.
