The National Science Centre grants for the Nencki Institute

The National Science Centre has announced the ranking lists of projects approved for funding in OPUS 21 and PRELUDIUM 20 calls. Scientists from the Nencki Institute received financial support for 7 research projects.

 

OPUS:

dr hab. Mark Jeremy Hunt – Integration of sensory and cortical input in the generation of ketamine-dependent high frequency oscillations in rodents.  - Grant implemented in consortium with Mossakowski Medical Research Centre Polish Academy of Sciences

dr hab. Katarzyna Piwocka – Verification of personalized therapeutic strategy based on Integrated Stress Response inhibition for myeloid neoplasms with PTPN11 mutations.

prof. dr hab. Jakub Mateusz Włodarczyk – Molecular mechanisms of 5-HT7R-mediated resilience in stress-related disorders - Grant implemented in consortium with Maj Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences

dr hab. Dorota Włoga – Dissecting the molecular mechanisms that control cilia beating – around and inside the N-DRC “black box”

dr inż. Tomasz Piotr Wypych – Utilizing microbial metabolites for multiple sclerosis treatment

prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Olaf Zabłocki – How mutations in the dystrophin-encoding gene affect calcium homeostasis, energy metabolism and selected functions of vascular endothelial cells; indicating regulatory mechanisms

mgr Jacek Wróbel - Dopaminergic modulation of high frequency oscillations in the rat olfactory bulb associated with the NMDA receptor hypofunction model of psychosis
