On June 6th, the Polish Science Picnic in Stockholm took place. The event was initiated and organized for the first time in Stockholm, by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. Four Polish scientific institutions participated in the picnic, including the Nencki Institute Experimental Biology PAS. At the Institute's stand, it was possible to take part in workshops on EEG technology, learn more about the bioelectric activity of the brain, as well as discover more about optical illusions and the principles of operation and numerous examples of fluorescence. The picnic achieved great interest from the inhabitants of Stockholm, including local Polish expatriates.
