On 7–9 October 2025, the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences will host the 9th International Doctoral Conference. The event offers an interdisciplinary programme in molecular biology, psychology, neurobiology, biochemistry, physiology and human pathology, providing a unique platform for young researchers to exchange knowledge. This year's edition is organised jointly by the Nencki Institute and the Warsaw School of Doctoral Studies in Exact and Biomedical Sciences Warsaw-4-PhD. The conference partner is EMERALD/EMBL, an initiative supporting the integration of the Polish natural sciences community with European research networks.

The conference programme includes plenary lectures and special EMBO/EMBL lectures, presentations by doctoral students, poster sessions aimed at bringing the latest discoveries to a wider audience. Among the invited lecturers who will share their knowledge and experience with participants are: Laurent Nguyen from the University of Liège; Jan Pawłowski representing BIOcean 5D/Institute of Oceanology and the University of Geneva; Robert Prevedel from EMBL in Heidelberg, Marie-Christin Spindler from EMBL and Joanna Sułkowska from the University of Warsaw.

The conference will be held in the CN Conference Room at the Nencki Institute at 3 Pasteura Street in Warsaw.
