His career in intellectual property and project management began in 2009, when he undertook the role of patent agent and European patent attorney applicant at the WTS Patent Attorneys practice. While there, he acquired knowledge and skills in the management of IPR protecting inventions in the fields of biotechnology and biochemistry, particularly as related to medicine and biomaterials. Mr. Ciuk also participated in business development and inventor-partner matching. As a Senior Intellectual Property Specialist at the Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+, he was responsible for maintaining and observing relevant intellectual property and exclusive rights. He was also responsible for the promotion of EIT+ intellectual property assets among commercial partners, collaborative model design and embodiment and licensing.
