Dr Tomasz Janecki, Head of the Research Station of the Nencki Institute in Mikołajki, has been appointed by the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship to the Council of the Museum of Polar Research in Puławy. The museum is the first institution in Poland dedicated to the history of Polish polar expeditions and research in the Arctic and Antarctic.
