Prof. Adam Szewczyk, the Director of the Institute, accepted the award and the Diploma from the hands of prof. Michał Kleiber, the president of PAN (The Polish Academy of Sciences) and the President of the Jury. The Populariser of Science Awards are the oldest and the most prestigious competition in Poland, where scientists, media people, institutions and social workers are awarded, whose passion is to share knowledge and uncover the mysteries of the modern science in a way approachable by everyone.
