Brain Awareness Week is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. The Warsaw Brain Awareness Week is an initiative of the Polish Neuroscience Society and the European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB). Each year the Nencki Institute contributes to this initiative (BIO-IMAGINE project) along with the editorial office of the “POLITYKA” weekly newspaper and the Committee on Neurobiology PAS. Lectures which are delivered by experts in neurobiology, neuropsychology, neurology, and psychiatry are addressed to each who is interested in neuroscience and new achievements in the field.
