A new operational Server Room at the Nencki Institute

The Server Room is the result of implementation of the project “Development of IT infrastructure, consolidation and virtualization of the Nencki Institute servers”, supported by EU Operational Programme – Innovative Economy”. An efficient, scalable IT infrastructure was build to decrease downtime and improve reliability of the system which can be further developed as needed. The infrastructure is based on the Cisco switches and blade servers as well as VMware software.
