Project title: Microfluidics assisted studies of molecular pathway leading to stress-induced synaptic plasticity

Key responsibilities:
- Experimental work:
a. development of novel assay for single-cell protein palmitoylation: combination of proximity ligation assay and transcriptome profiling, for characterization of posttranslational modifications of synaptic proteins
b. development of molecular biology protocols for single-nucleus genomics assays in droplet microfluidics format - Analysis and publication of the obtained results, Master thesis preparation
Profile of a candidate/requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology or related fields.
- At least 5 months of research experience in molecular biology.
