Nencki Institute on the 23rd Science Picnic of the Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Center

On Saturday May 11th 2019, the Nencki Institute participated in the 23rd Science Picnic, organised by the Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Center. We presented several interesting stands: mysterious world of ants, how to cheat your brain with optical illusions, and how do animals behave. Children could learn how the brain is built, along with how cells work and produce energy. Viewers aged 5 to 105 were lining up to see our presentations. Over the course of the whole day we had a few hundred visitors. We are happy to see so much love for science, and look forward to seeing you again next year.
