On 28-31 May 2014 Microscopy Workshop will be held at the Nencki Institute. The workshop is focused on cutting edge microscopy techniques and their applications in biomedical sciences. The speakers are world experts in the field, coming from renowned microscopy centers: European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL, Heidelberg), University of Hannover, Nicolaus Copernicus University (Torun) and Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology. The practical session will include advanced level training in sophisticated techniques, such as live-cell imaging, FRET-FLIM , FCS, 3VIEW, as well as tissue preparation techniques e.g. “Clarity”, and high-pressure freezing freeze-substitution.
