On 16 November 2024, in Krakow, Prof. Małgorzata Kossut from the Nencki Institute received the diploma of Regular Member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.
The Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (PAU) was established in 1872 due to the transformation of the Kraków Scientific Society, and its official inauguration took place on 7 May 1873. The PAU is essential in promoting and developing science and culture in Poland, bringing together researchers from various fields in interdisciplinary projects. It acts as an independent scientific institution, organizing conferences, publishing scientific papers, and supporting young scientists' development. It is also an essential opinion-forming forum (https://pau.krakow.pl/index.php/pl/aktualnosci-2).
Congratulations!
