GROUP LEADER

We are seeking highly motivated scientists, who have completed at least two-years of post-doctoral training, have demonstrated outstanding scientific achievement, and are ready to start their independent careers.

We offer employment in the largest research institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Nencki Institute is active in the fields of neurophysiology, molecular and cellular neurobiology, biochemistry, protein chemistry, cell biology, neuropsychology, bioinformatics and neuroinformatics. The candidate's scientific interests should fall within the research fields of the Nencki Institute.

The initial contract in this position will be for 5 years, with a possible extension after a positive evaluation of the candidate's achievements. We offer furnished laboratory space adjusted to the individual needs of the successful candidate, as well as access to the Institute's shared equipment and facilities. The selected individual will be entitled to take on three team members.

The selection process will be conducted by the Recruitment Committee established by the Director of the Nencki Institute. Short-listed candidates with the highest score will be selected for personal interviews. Interviews will take place at the Nencki Institute in mid-May 2015. The results of the competition will be announced in June 2015.
