The meeting was attended by three members of IAB: Prof. Rainer Pepperkok (EMBL), Dr Gabor Lamm (EMBLEM), Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki (IIMCB) and Prof. Adam Szewczyk as The Director of the Nencki Institute and The Project Coordinator.
The agenda of the meeting included presentations of all the BIO-IMAGINE Work Package leaders summarizing 21 months of the Project activities: Prof. Leszek Kaczmarek (Recruitment), Prof. Andrzej Wróbel (Bilateral Cooperation), Paweł Nowicki (Innovation and Technology Transfer), Prof. Katarzyna Piwocka (Infrastructure), Prof. Katarzyna Kwiatkowska (Conferences and Workshops), Dr hab. Anna Wasik (Promotional Activities and Dissemination of Knowledge), Marta Rucińska (Project Management) and Prof. Jerzy Duszyński (Evaluation).
During the second day of the meeting presentations were given by some of the core facilities leaders of the Nencki Neurobiology Center: Dr Tytus Bernaś (Microscopy Core Facility) and Dr Stefan Gaździński (Magnetic Resonance Imaging Core Facility).
Dr Marcin Szumowski summarized the Nencki’s participation in pan-European initiatives in the field of imaging (i. a. within the framework of the National Imaging Centre for biological and biomedical sciences, NEBI)
The members of the BIO-IMAGINE International Advisory Board expressed their appreciation for the effects of the current implementation of the Project.
