The National Centre for Research and Development has published the lists of projects which have qualified for financial backing in the II Competition of the programme: „ Prevention and treatment of civilization diseases” – STRATEGMED. Among the projects selected for funding are 2, in which members of the consortium carrying out the research are employees of the Nencki Institute:

- New therapy of psychotic disorders and Huntington's disease with particular focus on cognition deficits prof. Leszek Kaczmarek research team

- Development of new cancer therapies based on selective antitumor immunomodulators prof. Bożena Kamińska research team
