I would like to warmly invite you to our next Nencki Institute Seminar on the 9th of November at 3pm in the CN lecture hall. We will host Prof. Paul Schulz. Prof. Schulz's lecture will be entitled: "The art and science of clinical diagnosis in neuropsychiatry"
Prof. Paul Schulz is the Director of Cognitive Disorders Clinic at The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, TX, USA. He has over 30 years of experience in clinical management and research on Neurodegenerative Disorders. He is considered a pioneer in the field of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and his landmark publications in 2005 and 2007 described, for the first time, the remarkable clinical overlap between Neurodegenerative conditions ALS and FTD. In the last 10 years. Prof. Schulz has been involved in several clinical trials on Alzheimer disease (AD) and his research group has discovered a protective effect of the flu vaccine against AD. Prof. Schulz formerly served as the Director of Neurology residency program at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX and won the 'best educator' award at Texas Medical Center for several consecutive years.
