On May 8, 2026, at 10:30, the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, PAS will host the Nencki Award ceremony. The Nencki Award is a distinction granted by the Institute to recognize achievements in the field of biological sciences.

This year’s laureate is Prof. Andrea Cossarizza, an immunologist whose research focuses, among others, on immune memory, vaccination, and the aging of the immune system. During the ceremony, he will deliver a lecture entitled: "Immune memory and vaccination in immunodeficient patients and healthy centenarians."
