Drug repurposing explores new medical uses for already existing drugs or drug candidates, helping accelerate the development of new therapies. SPARK Europe invites you to join the webinar on 1 July 2026 at 16:00 CEST to learn more about drug repurposing, its opportunities and challenges, and gain insights and real-life examples from Kevin Grimes.

Kevin is a Professor of Chemical & Systems Biology and Co-Director of the SPARK program at Stanford University. He brings a unique perspective that bridges medicine, science, and business. Before returning to academia, he spent around 15 years working in the life sciences industry across medical devices, biotechnology, and consulting. At Stanford, he teaches drug discovery and development, as well as the economics of biotechnology, while continuing to practice internal medicine alongside his academic and translational research work.
