The 2014 Award of the Division of Biological and Agricultural Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences, for the scientific achievements for the set of papers concerning the discovery of new mechanisms crucial for pathobiology and therapy of gliomas was granted to the research team: Dr Małgorzata Sielska, Dr Iwona Ciechomska, Dr Aleksandra Ellert-Miklaszewska, Dr Konrad Gabrusiewicz, Dr hab. Michał Dąbrowski, led by Prof. dr hab. Bożena Kamińska-Kaczmarek (Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology, Nencki InstituteNeurobiology Centre).

The prizes are awarded annually for particularly important research findings published in prestigious scientific journals.
