Cooperation between Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS and the Department of Physics, University of Warsaw

Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and Department of Physics, University of Warsaw decided to create a joint interdisciplinary seminar, in which we will hear presentations understandable for both scientific environments. A proposed series of lectures are aim at strengthening cooperation between scientific units and to provide with the latest research in the field of biology, medicine and physics. We believe that this initiative will help scientists to search for topics of joint research and contribute to the creation of interesting, interdisciplinary grant projects.

 

Seminars will be held alternately in the Department of Physics, University of Warsaw (in room 0.03 UW Department of Physics, Pasteur 5) and the Nencki Institute (the Conference Hall of the Neurobiology Center, Pasteur 3) every two weeks, on Mondays at 16.30.

 

The first lecture entitled "Understanding and see the mind," delivered by Prof. Leszek Kaczmarek on 9 March 2015, at the Department of Physics.
