The Doctoral Students’ Council of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS actively engages in science outreach activities, aiming to make scientific knowledge more accessible, foster interest in science, and highlight its importance in everyday life. We collaborate with the Science Communication Department of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS in organizing and implementing educational initiatives and events addressed to a wide range of audiences, supporting dialogue between the scientific community and society.

We participate in annual science outreach events, such as Brain Week, the Science Picnic organized by Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre, the Ochota Science Picnic, and other educational initiatives. During these events, members of the Doctoral Students’ Council run their own stands, preparing interactive activities, demonstrations, and discussions that help participants better understand various scientific topics and learn more about the work of researchers. We also contribute to science outreach lessons and educational activities for school students, supporting the development of scientific curiosity among younger audiences.
