HORIZON2020 at the Nencki Institute

The Nencki Institute cordially invites all the researchers and students to the inaugural meeting of a series of trainings on HORIZON2020, the largest EU research and innovation programme ever. The aim of the training sessions and open info-days held by the experts from the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the European Union and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education is to give the research community an overview of ongoing activities and support the search for the right call for proposals and project partners, as well as application for research funding and individual fellowships. The first event in the series will be held in the Conference Room of the Nencki Neurobiology Centre on 15 July 2014 at 11 am.

It will cover the following topics:

• Presentation of the NCP Network offer

• Horizon2020 - the structure of the new EU Framework Programme

• The rules of participation in the Programme

• ERC Grants

• Marie Curie Actions

• 'Widening Participation'

• Consistency of H2020 with the Structural Funds.
