Legal consultations in English for foreigners

We are very pleased to announce that from Wednesday, October 27 we offer legal consultations in English for foreigners – employees and doctoral students of the Nencki Institute. Consultations are organized as part of the “Welcome to Poland” project financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA.

Legal advice will be provided by Totu Legal sp.z o.o. at our Institute in the period from October 2021 to September 2022 on Wednesdays from 11:00 to 13:00.  

 

Consultation scope:

  • visas and invitations,
  • legalization of the stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  • long-term resident’s EU residence permit,
  • a work permit for the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  • appeals against decisions denying foreigners the right to stay in Poland,
  • tax and legal consultancy, tax settlements,
  • obtaining or exchanging driving licenses,
  • purchase of real estate by foreigners on the territory of the Republic of Poland
  • legalization of stay of family members

Psychology support in English for foreigners

We are very pleased to announce that from Tuesday, Nov 30th, 2021 we offer psychology support in English for foreigners – employees and doctoral students of the Nencki Institute.

Consultations are organized as part of the “Welcome to Poland” project financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA.

Psychology consultations will be provided by Mrs. Katarzyna Mirecka every Tuesday.

The first consultation will take place on Tuesday Nov 30th, from 10:00 – 11:00 and 16:50 – 17:50.

One person can have a maximum of 3 hours of psychological counseling.

We hope that this initiative will be a support in difficult life situations, especially in the hard times of the pandemic.

 

Below please find some information about the psychologist Katarzyna Mirecka:

Mrs Katarzyna Mirecka graduated from Polish studies at the Jagiellonian University, and then did her MSc at the Nottingham University, she also completed the theoretical part of a 4-year comprehensive therapeutic training at the Rasztów Group Analysis Institute in Warsaw. She gained professional experience during internships at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology, at the Single Mother and Child Home in Warsaw and in a private office. For several years, she has been running her own office in Warsaw, and she is subject to regular supervision.
