We kindly invite you to participate in an open meeting with Dr. Tomasz Poprawka, an expert of the PolSCA Agency, who will introduce the future EU framework program Horizon Europe and will talk about the possibilities of getting involved in its co-creation and preparation for the upcoming competitions.
Are you interested in co-creating Horizon Europe?
Are you responsible for coordinating the flow of information on EU Framework Programs?
Are you planning to participate in Horizon Europe competitions and projects?
We encourage you to participate in the meeting, especially if you are:
• Individual researchers interested in participating in Horizon Europe projects (at least young doctors with several years of experience, in particular heads of research teams);
• Administrative staff of research institutions (responsible for the preparation and coordination of EU and / or international projects).
The event is open and is directed to the employees of the Polish Academy of Sciences institutes, as well as to the representatives of other R&D units in Warsaw. Depending on your preferences, the meeting may be either (i) a short lecture on the process of preparation of Horizon Europe with a Q&A session, or (ii) consultations with a member of the PolSCA Team.
The PolSCA office undertakes a number of activities (direct and indirect) in Brussels to represent the interests of scientists working in Poland, in particular within the Polish Academy of Sciences. However, the effectiveness of the PolSCA Agency's activities depends, to a large extent, on the involvement of academic and administrative staff in the country. This includes indicating detailed areas of interest and research priorities, as well as substantive needs at the stage of creating and developing future project consortia.
The meeting will take place on September 17, 2019 at 10.30-12.30 in the Nencki Institute conference room (1st floor)
