Prof. Leszek Kaczmarek in the Foundation for Polish Science TEAM programme

The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has announced the results of the first competition in the TEAM programme, which is aimed at funding teams of researchers led by distinguished scientists from all over the world pursuing groundbreaking scientific research. Among 9 winners selected out of 68 applicants is Prof. Leszek Kaczmarek from the Nencki Institute. Together with 2 postdocs and 2 PhD students to be hired they will study how the amygdala, the brain emotional center, controls appetitive learning and alcohol addiction.
