Four new projects, selected as part of the EBRAINS Open Call, will enrich the platform with extensive datasets and new brain atlases, fully reflecting the FAIR (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability) principles for data sharing. One of the winners is Marmoset@EBRAINS run by Dr. Piotr Majka from the Laboratory of Neuroinformatics, of the Nenckie Institute. This is the first Polish project to establish a close collaboration with EBRAINS. As a result, the EBRAINS platform will gain a new marmoset (Callithrix jacchus) cerebral cortex atlas, based on a morphological brain template of 20 young adult individuals. Furthermore, comprehensive maps of neuronal distribution and data from 143 experiments on cortical connections will be made available. These new projects will significantly contribute to the continued development of EBRAINS as a key platform in the field of neuroscience.
