SPARK Europe Education Webinars

How to select the right first indication for your platform technology?

12 April 2023 | 16-17 CET | Peter Nestorov, PhD

SPARK Europe invites you to our next webinar organized by Spark Zürich with Peter Nestorov, PhD, a co-founder and CEO of Scailyte – a spin-off with an artificial intelligence platform for discovery of complex disease patterns from single-cell and multi-omics data.

Peter Nestorov holds a diploma in biochemistry from the University of Tübingen and a PhD in genetics from the University of Basel and Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research. He has experience in biomedical research and is an expert in genomics applications and technologies.

His company, Scailyte, provides insight into the disease and patients’ biology and enables a discovery of new clinically-relevant biomarker signatures. Their analytical platform works with multi-omics data to extract composite biomarkers associated with different cell populations. It automatically learns molecular patterns associated with relevant clinical outcomes and optimizes the learning process to achieve best prediction performance. These signatures can then be applied to prototype and develop clinical biomarker assays for patient stratification and diagnosis.

Peter will talk about Scailyte experience and approach in selecting their initial and follow up indications based on various parameters which will be explained during the webinar.

Join us on 12th of April at 16:00 CET and register here!
