Requirements:

• Strong interest in brain research, especially in understanding the brain-mind connection,

• PhD degree, or equivalent, in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, physics/biophysics, biology, psychology, medical or veterinary sciences.

• Strong publication record,

• Proven proficiency in one or more of the following techniques: electrophysiology, mouse behavior, neuroanatomy, stereotactic surgery,

• Exceptional motivation for scientific research (demonstrated via publications, references of the candidate's thesis tutor),

• Proficiency in English.

Scope of tasks:

We are searching for an outstanding postdoctoral candidate for a research project supported by the National Science Centre, Poland.

The studies aim at deciphering the role of Arc/Agr3.1 protein in  synaptic dysfunctions that underlie alcohol addiction.

Employment conditions:

            Period: 14 months but can be extended up to 4 years.
