On September 15th, 2015 in Portsmouth (United Kingdom), an agreement was signed on the bilateral co-operation between the Faculty of Science at the University of Portsmouth, represented by the Dean Prof. Taraneh (Tara) Dean, and the Nencki Institute, represented by Prof. Adam Szewczyk.

The aim of the agreement is to support the efforts of scientists in both institutions applying for funding from the Horizon 2020 program.

During the meeting Prof. Krzysztof Zablocki concluded a long-term research collaboration with the University of Portsmouth and Prof. Agnieszka Dobrzyn gave a presentation about European projects from international doctoral studies conducted at the Nencki Institute
