On October 19–20, 2026, the Nencki Institute hosted two workshops led by Prof. Moni Hamolsky, focusing on scientific communication and research team management.
The first workshop, “Anatomy of a Research Report: Structuring and Phrasing Scientific Presentations,” focused on preparing scientific papers, presentations, and other forms of research communication. Topics included formulating research questions, building logical arguments, and presenting findings clearly and effectively to highlight their significance.
The second workshop, “Questions, Answers, Advice, and Happiness,” was designed for research group leaders and addressed practical challenges in team management. Discussions covered motivating and mentoring early-career researchers, maintaining team engagement, and improving work organisation and efficiency. The workshop also provided an opportunity to discuss challenges faced by research teams at the Nencki Institute.
We thank Prof. Hamolsky for sharing her knowledge, experience, and valuable insights.
