The National Science Centre published the ranking list of six projects recommended for financing under calls for proposals announced by the NCN on the 15th November, 2012. SYMFONIA is a funding opportunity intended for exceptional established researchers wanting to carry out interdisciplinary or cross-domain research in collaboration with teams representing different areas of research.

The project "Atlas of specific regulatory areas of the human brain - a new tool for exploring the pathways causing selected brain disease" occupied third place in terms of financing. A consortium of scientists from the Warsaw University, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS and the Institute of Computer Science PAS will be running it.
