Laboratory of Synaptogenesis at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences, is currently seeking a post-doc in biology

Our laboratory conducts research on the development of synapses in the central and peripheral nervous systems. We use multidisciplinary approaches to understand mechanisms that orchestrate synaptic remodeling and neuronal organization. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our group of young and ambitious scientists. During your work, you will be undergoing intensive training that should help you to become successful in academia. While conducting your own research, you will be exposed to a broad range of techniques: generation of conditional knockout animals, preparation, staining and analysis of tissues, cell culture, complex biochemistry and proteomics, generation of recombinant viruses. Qualifications:

PhD degree in natural sciences (biology, biotechnology or medicine)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong motivation to work

Neatness in work habits, attention to detail, and good organizational skills

Ability to communicate fluently in English

General experience in laboratory work
