Professorial nomination for Katarzyna Jednoróg
On 20 December 2021, the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda has given the title of professor of natural sciences to dr hab. Katarzyna Jednoróg.
Prof. Katarzyna Jednoróg leads the Laboratory of Language Neurobiology, which studies typical and atypical language competence development. Her interests focus on brain reorganisation associated with the acquisition of reading skills in children, neurobiological mechanisms of dyslexia, and universal brain organisation for speech and writing. In their research, Prof. Jednoróg's team uses non-invasive methods to image brain function and structure.
