We are pleased to announce that dr. Małgorzata Wierzba (Laboratory of Brain Imaging, Nencki Institute) has become a member of the Management Committee in the COST Actions project titled “Improving Neuroimaging Data for Sharing” (CA24161).
The Main Proposer of the project is Prof. Jochem Rieger from Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany. The project focuses on open science and research data management, particularly the development of standards such as the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) for conducting research using various neuroimaging techniques, including MRI, MEG, EEG, and fNIRS. A full description of the project can be found here: https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA24161
COST Actions is a program funded by the European Union, aimed at promoting scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange through the creation of interdisciplinary research networks. Researchers collaborating within such networks receive funding for joint research on specific topics, as well as for consultations, training, and scientific internships. COST Actions projects differ from many other EU-funded projects because it is possible to join and participate in a research network once it has started! This opportunity is available throughout the entire project duration.
