Effective January 1, 2010 Prof. Adam Szewczyk was nominated for the position of the Director of the Nencki Institute. The nomination was signed by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Michal Kleiber as a result of an open recruitment procedure, in which Prof. Szewczyk was the only applicant for the position.
