Dr. Paulina Podszywalow-Bartnicka from the Laboratory of Cytometry at the Nencki Institute, headed by Prof. Katarzyna Piwocka, received a scholarship from the Fulbright Poland Senior Award Program.

The Fulbright Senior Award is a programme addressed to scientists at any stage of their career after obtaining a doctoral degree, enabling them to carry out independent research projects at a host institution in the USA.

The project of dr Podszywałow-Bartnicka, which concerns the study of protein-RNA interaction and splicing process in leukemia cells will be implemented at Yale University in New Haven.
