MAESTO Grant at the Nencki Institute

Maestro is addressed to advanced academics for the funding of 5-years research projects aimed at carrying out pioneering research, including interdisciplinary research, which is important for the development of science beyond the current state of knowledge, and may result in scientific discoveries. The project entitled “The role of glioma-derived signaling molecules in macrophage polarization and shaping anti-tumor immune responses” aims to discover mechanisms responsible for deregulated expression, secretion and postranslational modifications of signaling molecules in tumors and their effects on immune microenvironment of glioblastomas.
