The director of the Nencki Institute, prof. Adam Szewczyk, in recognition of special merits for the development of the Institute, has awarded medals for the 100th anniversary of the Nencki Institute to prof. Zbigniew Brzózka, former dean of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology, prof. Paweł Kulesza, former dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University, co-founders of the POWER interdisciplinary PhD programme TRI-BIO-CHEM "From chemistry to bioinnovation for a better life", and Dr Irena Eris, whose company, which was based on the jointly implemented NCBiR project and patent application, providing the first implementation of a product, carried out in the history of the Nencki Institute.
