“Facilitating Social Innovation: Group Thinking”
3 June 2026 | 4 – 5 pm (CEST) | Webinar
The SPARK program is a collaboration between academia and industry that supports translational researchers through mentoring and training to move discoveries from the lab to clinical use. Founded at Stanford University in 2006 by Prof. Daria Mochly-Rosen and Prof. Kevin Grimes, it is now implemented in over 20 countries across six continents.
SPARK Europe invites you to join the webinar on 3 June 2026 at 16:00 CEST to gain insights from Prof. Craig Garner, a neuroscientist and co-founder of several biotech companies. His involvement in translational initiatives began as one of the first SPARK participants at Stanford University, and later led to the establishment of the SPARK-BIH program at the Charité in Berlin, as well as his contribution to the development of the SPARK Europe Network.
During the webinar, Prof. Garner will share his personal journey of translating research discoveries into therapeutic applications, reflect on how SPARK influenced his scientific thinking, and discuss how he applies the SPARK approach to drive innovation in new projects.
The webinar, hosted by SPARK-BIH, will be held online via MS Teams - please register here.
