On behalf of the Scientific Council of the Nencki Institute, we would like to kindly invite you for a public PhD defence of MSc Anna Maria Kaźmierowska “The same subnuclei of the amygdala are activated when fear contagion occurs between humans, and between humans and rats”. (Supervisors – Dr Ewelina Knapska Ph.D., D.Sc. and  Dr Jarosław Michałowski, Ph.D., D.Sc.).  

The thesis has been reviewed by Prof. Przemysław Bąbel from Institut of Psychology Jagiellonian University, Dr. Jan Haaker from University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and Prof. Claus Lamm from University of Viena.

The defense will take place at the Nencki Institute on June 13, 2023 at 12.30 pm at Jerzy Konorski conference hall on the 2nd floor in the main building.
