The EMOTE (Early Markers Of antidepressant Therapy Efficacy) project, proposed by scientists from the Nencki Institute: Dr. Monika Bijata, Dr. Izabela Anna Zawisza, Dr. Bartosz Frycz, was among the winners of the PFR (Polish Development Fund) Pioneers School - an international educational program for future Polish technology entrepreneurs and visionaries. The project is being carried out at the  Cell Biophysics Laboratory, lead by Prof. Jakub Wlodarczyk.

Fifty people from across Poland were shortlisted to participate in the program. After the educational part of the program, 8 projects with the greatest implementation potential were selected and presented on stage during the Final Gala, November 4, 2022.
