The Warsaw Innovation Centre

The Warsaw Innovation Centre (WIC) is a new research consortium, a joint initiative of the four institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Institute of Physics, Institute of Physical Chemistry, Institute of Organic Chemistry and the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology.

The aim of the WIC is to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation in the field of chemistry, physics and biology. The WIC activities will include the implementation of joint, interdisciplinary scientific projects (grants) and interdisciplinary doctoral theses, student projects and multi-thematic scientific meetings. In addition, the WIC will support the efforts of interdisciplinary research and development projects carried out in cooperation with industrial partners within the framework of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 Mazovia Region.
